The concert dedicated to the end of the Leningrad siege took place in the Tavricheskiy Palace
On 27 January 2010 in the Ekaterininskiy hall of the Tavricheskiy Palace - the IPA CIS headquarters - there took place the concert for veterans dedicated to the end of the Leningrad siege.
The organizers of the concert were the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Club of Friends of the Tavricheskiy Palace, the Production Centre 'Art-Assemblies', and the Music Society 'Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. St. Petersburg'.
The presentation of the Music Society 'Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. St. Petersburg' took place at the concert, as well as the performances of the international youth symphonic orchestra and choir of the 'Cappella Tavricheskaya' of the IPA CIS conducted by Mikhail Golilkov, Lubov Kazarrnovskaya, soloists of the Academic Symphonic Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Anna Makarova, Marina Vorozhtsova and Sergey Dogadin.
The concert was directed by Yulian Makarov.
Veterans of war, survivors of the Leningrad siege, representatives of the Russian Society of invalids, Union of Protection of Elders and other public organizations, as well as schoolchildren and students from humanitarian institutes and music colleges, diplomats from states - participants of the World War II and journalists were invited to the concert.
