Representatives of the IPA CIS Mission of International Observers on monitoring the presidential elections in Ukraine met with observers of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly
On 7 February 2010 in Kyiv (Ukraine) the representatives of the IPA CIS Mission of International Observers on monitoring the presidential elections in Ukraine - the Head of the IPA CIS Mission of International Observers on monitoring the presidential elections in Ukraine, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Alexander Torshin, the Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Andrey Molchanov, and the Secretary General of the IPA CIS Council, Mikhail Krotov, - met with the Head of the Mission of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly at the presidential elections in Ukraine, Assen Agov.
The parties exchanged information on the work of observers during the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine. The heads of both missions agreed that such meetings would improve coordination of work of international observers from various parliamentary organizations and that would positively influence the quality of monitoring and objectiveness of assessments, that would further result in a closer subject cooperation of IPA CIS and PA NATO missions.
