Moscow, Kremlin
To participants and guests
of the Third Nevsky International Ecological Congress!
Dear friends,
Let me congratulate you with the inauguration of the Congress.
This authoritative forum gathers annually prominent experts from Russia and foreign countries, representatives of business circles and power bodies, in order to discuss together the key problems of environment.
The reduction of the negative influence of the human activity on the nature is one of the most urgent and undoubtedly global tasks. Its solution will determine the further development of states, the human health, and the future of the fauna and the flora of the planet. And the unquestioned priority here is the introduction of ecologically clean technologies, enhancement of power efficiency of the economy and the social sphere, and use of renewable and alternative energy sources.
I hope that you recommendations will contribute to strengthening of the environmental security, perfection of the legislative basis and development of the international cooperation in this sphere.
I wish the participants and guests of the Congress success and all the best.
D. Medvedev
